Big success for Gadchiroli Police Force in the background of Bhumkal week
Gadchiroli :-On 15/01/2023, while the Special Mission Team personnel were carrying out anti-Naxal operations in Mauja Vedampalli forest area of Permili limits under sub-division Aheri, at 14.00 pm. Meanwhile, a large number of Naxalites between 20 and 25 in Sadar Jungle area fired heavily towards the policemen with the intention of killing them. When the brave jawans of the Special Mission Team fired in response and in self-defence towards the Naxalites, seeing the increasing pressure of the jawans, the Naxalites escaped by taking advantage of the dense forest. Gadchiroli police personnel foiled the devious plan of Naxalites to carry out a major attack in the wake of Bhumkal week.
After the Naxal encounter, when the jawans conducted a search operation in the forest area, they succeeded in capturing 01 Nos. Bharmar, 01 Nos. Pistol, 01 Nos. Walkie Talkie Charger and other large quantity of Naxal materials. This entire action Hon. Superintendent of Police Shri. Under the guidance of Nilotpal as well as Hon. Additional Superintendent of Police (Campaign) Shri. Anuj Tare Sa., Hon. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Shri. Kumar Chinta Sa., Hon. Additional Superintendent of Police, Aheri Shri. Yatish Deshmukh Mr. It was done under his supervision. Hon. Superintendent of Police Shri. Nilotpal Sa. भुमकाल सप्ताहाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर गडचिरोली पोलीस दलास मोठे यश
दिनांक १५/०१/२०२३ रोजी उपविभाग अहेरी अंतर्गत येणाऱ्या उपपोस्टे पेरमिली हद्दीतील मौजा वेडमपल्ली जंगल परिसरात विशेष अभियान पथकाचे जवान नक्षलविरोधी अभियान राबवित असतांना दुपारी १४.०० वा. दरम्यान सदर जंगल परिसरात २० ते २५ अशा मोठ्या संख्येतील नक्षलवाद्यांनी पोलीस जवानांना जीवे ठार मारण्याच्या उद्देशाने जवानांच्या दिशेने जोरदार गोळीबार केला. विशेष अभियान पथकांच्या बहादूर जवानांनी प्रतिउत्तरादाखल व स्वसंरक्षणासाठी नक्षलवाद्यांच्या दिशेने गोळीबार केला असता, जवानांचा वाढता दबाव पाहून नक्षलवाद्यांनी घनदाट जंगलाचा फायदा घेत पळ काढला. भुमकाल सप्ताहाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मोठ्या घातपाताची नक्षलवाद्यांची कुटील योजना गडचिरोली पोलीस दलाच्या जवानांनी हाणून पाडली.
नक्षल चकमकीनंतर सदर जंगल परिसरात जवानांनी शोध अभियान राबविले असता, त्यामध्ये ०१ नग भरमार, ०१ नग पिस्टल, ०१ नग वॉकीटॉकी चार्जर व इतर मोठ्या प्रमाणात नक्षल साहित्य हस्तगत करण्यात यश प्राप्त केले. ही संपूर्ण कारवाई मा. पोलीस अधीक्षक श्री. नीलोत्पल यांचे मार्गदर्शनाखाली तसेच मा. अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (अभियान) श्री. अनुज तारे सा., मा. अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (प्रशासन) श्री. कुमार चिंता सा., मा. अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक, अहेरी श्री. यतिश देशमुख सा. यांचे देखरेखीखाली पार पडली.
विशेष अभियान पथकाच्या जवानांच्या या शौर्यपूर्ण कामगिरीचे मा. पोलीस अधीक्षक श्री. नीलोत्पल सा. यांनी कौतूक केले असून, सदर परिसरात नक्षलविरोधी अभियान अधिक तीव्र करण्याचे संकेत दिले आहे.
